β β Hey Reader, β Happy Monday ππ» β First, I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge the past holiday season. β I hope you had a wonderful holiday with loved ones, friends, and family alike. β I took the past two weeks off of the newsletter to reset, recharge, and take some time to gain clarity on the new year ahead. β All of that to say, today's newsletter will be sharing some insight into our new year and what my entrepreneurial journey will hold for the year 2024. β What Can You Expect From Me Weekly?β My love for marketing, creative, and storytelling will always be at the forefront. However, I want this to be a bit more personal. β Being plugged into the worlds of marketing, social, creative, video, etc., allows me to sharpen my skills to (hopefully) be of great resource to you. β My efforts will be focused on those areas, with the occasional philosophical life topic. Why? Transparently, I'm a deep thinker, loathe surface-level thoughts, and am always pondering life and success, along with all of the trials and tribulations that come along with it. β But... β I pinky promise never to be the person with hacks or get-rich-quick schemes. The social sphere is filled with it, and it makes me cringe with every ad I see about how you can gain 5-10 new clients within 30 days with a fancy system. β I am a man of principle and truly believe that the skillsets of empathy-led story-telling, copywriting, video creation, design, SEO, and compelling messaging, paired with a deep understanding of human psychology and positioning, can bring success to a variety of products/ services. β My Business Goals: A Summary.β My wife and I run a boutique creative marketing business/ team as our "day job," which pairs digital marketing tactics with hand-crafted creative/video and personalized strategies so companies can attract, engage, convert, retain, and delight their customers. My Vision For 2024 Growth Falls Into Three Pillars:
β Here's How We Plan To Support The Growth Of These Initiatives:
β Onward and Upward.β Entrepreneurship and careers can be time-sucking, emotionally exhausting, and honestly lonely. I hope to gain your trust over this year and welcome open conversation. Hey Reader, Happy Monday ππ» Writing this newsletter has brought a lot of clarity to how I approach perception, presentation, and positioning. It turns out that positioning, perception, and presentation mean a lot more than I ever thought. For example: Positioning = Opens the door to being the right fit for someone's needs. Perception = Gets people in the door by aligning with their needs. Presentation = Slams the door shut behind that person and helps them move forward with you. Sounds...
Hey Reader, Happy Monday ππ» I've had quite a few chats with business professionals, and I like to think I'm pretty plugged into the marketing/ content world. One thing that keeps popping up in these conversations is the thought of building personal brands. You know, build an audience of hundreds of thousands, start a membership program, post a sh*t load of content, and then sail off into the Maldives only to work 2 hours a day atop of your empire. At least, that's how these mega-creators make...
Hey Reader,, Happy Tuesday ππ» Mega musicians play the same song over and over. Multi-billion dollar cruise liners and airlines travel the same plot points (weather permitting). Fast food juggernauts like McDonalds have been serving the same damn burger since 1940. Yet, here, most of us fall somewhere in middle America. Why canβt all of us have generational wealth, and why is it so damn hard? Is it political climate? Is it by a universal design? Is it the influence of shiny object syndrome?...
